Glossa Technologia:About
From Glossa Technologia
About the Glossa Technologia.
The Glossa Technologia, much like its namesake the Glossa Ordinaria, is a collaboratively authored, ever-growing document which serves as a compendium for a far greater body of work.
Specifically, the Glossa Technologia is an expansive (and expanding) annotated bibliography of sources relevant to the wide field concerned with digital technologies in rhetoric, composition, and literacy studies. It is built by the very scholars who actually use those sources. From the utilization of computers in the composition classroom, the construction of innovative computer-assisted research methods, or the design of hypertextual writing software programs--even more recent, cutting-edge work in the production of and theories about "new media studies"--the Glossa Technologia compiles opinions from various voices in the field on the quality and importance of a variety of books, articles, online texts, and more.
Set up as an open-source, editable, user-friendly wiki, the Glossa Technologia is designed to encourage anyone interested in the connection between digital technologies and rhetoric/composition/literacy studies to submit his or her own mini-review or annotation to the site. Find out how to add your voice to the fray.
